Message I like how they are taking piggyback systems to another level we haven't seen before though. This is definately a step up from the AFC, but I wouldn't call it an alternative to the Zemulator. =) Fooling the ECU by offsetting values from the sensors has undesirable effects - the non-linearity of the MAS sensor makes for interesting tuning with a piggyback system. Not to mention it again, but the same problem will lie in the ignition timing maps with this device that the SAFC has - it will indirectly screw with your timing as you change the A/F ratios. Independent manipulation of the timing and fuel values is vital to maintaining safe tolerances when tuning as well as ease of use. Each time you change your A/F a little, the ignition timing at that RPM value will also change. Once you go back and set the timing for that RPM range, you will have different boost characteristics, which will offset the MAS information during the onset of boost. It is not going to be a very friendly way of tuning as you aren't setting the hard numbers the ECU uses, you are just playing plato in the cave with the ECU. =)

I would like to get your feedback of the device just to see how your dyno tuning session goes.. # of tunes in 'x' time, and printouts for each run if you can so we can see the changes. It would be beneficial to have a conZult so you can see for yourself how changing the A/F will throw your ignition timing around. Let uf know though - I excited to see your results! =) When you plan on dyno tuning your car?
